1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Tong Tin:

• Phone number — used for account authentication via OTP (one-time password)
• Full name — displayed to group members
• Group data — group names, contribution amounts, bid records, payment records, and chat messages you create within the App
• Language preference — English or Khmer

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Display your name and activity to your group members
• Provide the record-keeping features of the App
• Send OTP codes for login verification

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is shared only with:

• Your group members — they can see your name, contribution status, and bid history within shared groups
• Supabase — our database provider, which stores your data securely
• SMS provider — to deliver OTP codes to your phone

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (cloud infrastructure). We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access data from groups they belong to. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. No Financial Data

Tong Tin does not collect, store, or process any bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or payment credentials. All financial transactions happen outside of the App.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you wish to delete your account and data, contact us at support@tongtin.app.

7. Children's Privacy

Tong Tin is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
